Mrs. Edna L. Tardell passed away at her home Monday evening November 2, 2009. Edna was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 12, 1921 to the late Louis and Katherine Hilser Schaaf. She was a member of Joy Lutheran Church in Ocala, FL. Edna was preceded in death by her husband Harry Wilbur Tardell. She is survived by son Timothy Tardell (Barbara); two daughters Nora McClure (Bob) of Safety Harbor, FL and Judith Tardell (Ed Thomas) of Westerville, OH; two grandchildren Lisa Thomas (David) and Brent Tardell; four great-grandchildren Kearstin, Karlin, Dylan and Dawson; and a sister Mildred Gray (George) of Ocala, FL. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Hayworth- Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Chaplin Meghan McSwain officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. A Memorial service will be held at a later date at Joy Lutheran Church in Ocala, FL.
