Her father George I Kuehmichel (1864-1944) was born in Germany and her mother Ingrid (Ida) Petersdotter (changed to Pederson in the U.S.) (1867-1848) in Norway In Luster (at Valaker farmstead). Ida had two sisters and two brothers. She was born in Marshfield, WI. She does not appear in censuses for 1930 and 1940. In 1930, her parents lived in Brainerd, MN with their sons Roy and George; during the rest of that decade and into the 1940s they continued to live in Brainerd.
