Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Scarborough Bailey, age 82, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 1, 2010 at the Trinity Assembly of God with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Sumner and Rev. Hugh Spivey will officiate.
Mrs. Bailey was born January 13, 1928 in Johnson County; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late T.C. and Adell Parker Haddock, a son, Jimmy Curtis Scarborough and a brother, John T. Haddock. She was a member of the Wrightsville Assembly of God, the Wrightsville Women's Ministry, the Joy Club and the Wrightsville Senior Citizens Group. Mrs. Bailey passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at her residence.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Scarborough (Rayford) Soles of East Dublin, 4 sons, Kenneth (Janice) Scarborough of Lizella, Tommy Scarborough of Oveida, FL, Benny (Teresa H.) Scarborough of Wrightsville and Johnny (Teresa S.) Scarborough of Wrightsville, a sister, Dolly Gunnells of Milledgeville, 12 grandchildren and 14 Great-grandchildren.
