Mr. Scales, 26, died of a stab wound Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
Mr. Scales was born in Greenwood and attended Greenwood High School. He worked at J.J. Ferguson and loved working on his car.
He is survived by a daughter, Angel Huff of Greenwood; his mother, Leorthils Scales of Greenwood; a brother, Leandrew Scales of Greenwood; and two sisters, Natasha Scales and Sophia Scales, both of Greenwood.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at Great Southern Funeral Home. A wake will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday.
Elder Eddie Scales will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be John Paynes, Windell Rucker, Joe Nathan Jr., Robert Durne, Christopher (Lynn) House, Keith Scales and William Cage.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cornelius Turnpin, Derrick G. Scales, Dwight Scales, Tommie Scales, Fredrick Hagins and Jimmie Scales.
Burial will be in Hudson Park Cemetery.
