Adele J. (Sbertoli) Cuscianna, of Quincy, died Sunday, June 5 at the Marina Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Quincy. She was 99 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Eustachio Gus Cuscianna. Born in Boston on May 1, 1912, she was the loving daughter of the late Francesco and Maria (Bertoni) Sbertoli. Mrs. Cuscianna was raised and educated in Italy until the age of 18 when she returned to Boston and has lived in Quincy since 1970. During the winter months, she and her husband frequently visited Matera Italy to visit with relatives and work in their nephews clothing store. She was a member of the North Quincy Womens Club and the Italian Womens Club of Boston. Mrs. Cuscianna was the dear sister of the late Amanda Giannotti, Beatrice Sulmonetti, Elvira Florio, Louis Sbertoli and Mario Marini. She was the sister-in-law Anna Cuscianna, wife of the late Emanuel Cuscianna. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock Street, Quincy on Friday, June 10 at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy prior to Mass from 9 - 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Michael Cemetery in Roslindale. www.boleafuneralservices.com.
