Information: Mrs. Blanche Mabel Sayre, 48, of Given, Jackson county, died Wednesday at the Statts Hospital, Charleston, following a short illness. She was born June 10, 1915, in Mason county, daughter of Thomas Howelle and Bertha Parsons Howelle. She was married to Rudolph Sayre, who survives. She was a member of the Baden Ridge Presbyterian Church. Also surviving are four sons, Dencil, Darrell, Roger, and Royall Sayre, all at home; three daughters, Mrs. Elsie Welling of Given, Beverly and Reba, at home; two brothers, Horton Howelle, Ripley, Holly Howelle, Columbus, O.; four sisters, Mrs. Lora Parsons, Flat Rock, Mrs. Bessie Hill, Leon, Mrs. Susie Boyer, Columbus, and Mrs. Chloe Howelle, Ripley; three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Baden Ridge Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Norman Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Parsons funeral home, Ripley.
