Lawdeen "Pa" Hatch, 87, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, August 6, 2002 at his residence.
He was a retired farmer, a member of Independent Free Holiness church, a 50-year member of Woodmen of the World and a member of the Coon Hunter's Club.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Independent Free Holiness Church with Rev. Buddy Grizzle and Brother Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors at 5-9 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Manda Hatch; a daughter, Linda Smith of Dyersburg; a son, Elgon Ray Hatch of Dyersburg; three sisters, Era Wilson, Crindola Millner and Izola Patton, all of Dyersburg; a brother, Junior Lee Hatch of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Ray Hatch, Sonia Wilson and Tim Smith; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Larry Hatch; and two granddaughters, Debbie Kent and Stephanie Bottoms.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Roper, Felix Reasons, Charles Staggs, Mark Butler, Britt Russell and Gene Clark

Manda "Ma" Hatch, 93, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.

She was a homemaker and a member of Independent Free Holiness Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Independent Free Holiness Church with the Rev. Calvin Smith and Bro. Tommy Roper officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Smith and husband, Lloyd, of Dyersburg; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Hatch of RoEllen; two sisters, Lucille Stephens of Dyersburg and Lela Bell Stafford of Nebo; two brothers, Will Sawyer of Memphis and Joe "Buddy" Sawyer of Hobart, Ind.; three grandchildren, Tim Smith of Dyersburg, Sonia Clark and Ray Hatch, both of RoEllen; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawdeen "Pa" Hatch; her sons, Elgon Ray Hatch and James Larry Hatch; her parents, Toy and Mary Etta Sawyer; three sisters, Mary Nial, Beulah Pounders and Virginia Hall; three brothers, Raymond Sawyer, Jim Sawyer and Doc Sawyer; and two grandchildren, Stephanie Bottoms and Debbie Kent.

Pallbearers will be Michael Wilson, Scott Wilson, Gene Clark, Timothy Hatch, Ray Hatch and Mark Butler.

of DYERSBURG - 69yrs, retired carpenter, died Wednesday, Aug 4 2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Dyersburg Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Hatch, the husband of Shirley R. Hatch, also leaves a daughter, Sonia Wilson; a son, Ray Hatch; his mother, Mandy Hatch, and a sister, Linda Smith, all of Dyersburg, eight grandchildren, Charlotte McFee, Randy, Tiffany and Timothy Hatch, Wendy Scott and Scott Wilson and Jodyie Kent and four great-grandchildren, Alaxis and Kane Wilson and Torrye and Miranda Scott.
