Published: 01/25/2000: Reble Sawyer Holt, 88, of Morristown, formerly of Cocke County, passed away January 21 at Life Care Center of Morristown. She was a member of Glendale Methodist Church and was a school teacher in Cocke County for 32 years. She was an avid quilter. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Tom Ucciardi; grandchildren, Tom, Joel and Mary Catherine; great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Hope Ucciardi; sisters, Gertrude Denton and Clemmie Wishart; brother, Lynton Sawyer; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were 10 a.m. Monday at Glendale Cemetery in Cocke County with Rev. Roy Miller officiating. The family received friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Mayes Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glendale Methodist Church. Mayes Mortuary, Morristown, was in charge of arrangements.
