DOBBIN —Rebecca Sawyer Dobbin, at her home in West Jonesport, Maine, December 1, 1900, age 67 years, 11 months. She was buried the 31 from Union chapel; sermon by W. W. Blanchard, Sr. Dobbin was baptized April 13, 1873, by Elder Joseph Lakeman.
She leaves a husband, five children, and sixteen grandchildren, who have the tenderest sympathy of Saints and friends. Sr. Dobbin's life has been consistent and beautiful, and her rest well earned. While we keenly sense our loss, we resignedly say, Sleep well, sister, until the morn of the first resurrection, when we hope to meet again.
