Angie, more affectionately known as Mimi, enjoyed spending time with her family (and dogs), working in her flower beds, shopping, going to the casino and could almost always be found doing something to serve someone else. When we think of Angie, it is her strength that we think of first. Anyone that has ever met her would tell you she's the strongest person they've ever met, a true wonder woman, a courageous fighter and even more so an inspiration of love and courage. Her sense of strength was never so tested nor so well demonstrated as in the final weeks and days of her life. Even with a body riddled with sickness, she was determined to spend the day attending the ultrasound appointment to get her first look at her granddaughter. The birth of her first grandchild and the news of her second on the way brought her more joy than words can describe.

A mother, daughter and wife, bravely fighting pancreatic cancer. Angie was a fighter and fought a long and hard 2.5 year battle to be able to savor as many precious moments with her family as possible. We find peace and comfort in knowing she didn't lose her battle; she won! She was welcomed into the arms of her Savior and the place He has prepared for her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, life, strength and courage. She will live on in our memories and hearts forever and we will always be extremely proud to call ourselves the husband, son, daughter, grandchild, family member, friend and loved one of Angie Marie Touchet.

Angie is survived by her husband, Dudley Touchet of Lafayette; four children, Bryan Ray Spragis and wife Jeni of Zachary; Jessica Marie Spragis of Lafayette; Noah Dudley Joseph Touchet and Kathryn “KK” Angelle Touchet; grandson, Preston Jude Spragis and future granddaughter; parents Roger and Catherine Savoie of Lakeland, brother David Savoie and wife Christy, their 3 children and 2 grandchildren of Lakeland; sister in law, Pamela Touchet and fiancé Shane Champagne; brother in law Jason Touchet and wife Lauren and their 3 children of Rayne; and her four legged children Tiny, Elvis, Archie and Jaco.

Honoring Angie as Pallbearers will be Chase Landry, David Savoie, Bryan Spragis, Dudley Touchet, Jason Touchet and Noah Touchet. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roger Savoie and Shane Champagne.
