Jan Barnum was survived by her Mother, Shirley Saulsbury of Pharr Texas and her sister, Lynn Foster of Stillwater Minnesota. She is survived by two daughters, Laura Smith and Robbie Adams. She has 5 living Grandchildren, Meagan Adams, Candice Adams, Aubri Adams, Leanne Boudreaux and Natalie Smith. She was born and married in South Texas, moved to Louisiana for approximately 22 years, then returned to her roots in South Texas. At the time of her death Jan was a recovering Alocholic who was about to earn her 13 year coin. After facing her addiction she earned her license to counsel troubled adolescents with drugs and alchohol problems where she helped many young adolescents overcome addiction. Taken too early, she is missed and loved by many.
