CROSS - Cash Leverne Sauls, 73, of Cross, S.C., died Tuesday in a Charleston, S.C., hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2002, at Hope Lutheran Church, Vance, S.C., with Pastor Wayne Young officiating. Burial will be private.
Mr. Sauls was born in Lake City, S.C., a son of the late Joel A. Sauls and Flossie McCutheon Sauls. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and a retired business agent with the Local 199 Service Employees International Union. He was a 33rd Degree mason, a member of the Live Oak Hunt Club, and a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Rogers Sauls of the home; son, Jimmy Sauls of Huger; daughters, Jean Adkison and Jane Bell both of Goose Creek; step-daughter, Melissa Dunning of Cross; step-son, John W. Faust of Charlotte; sisters Christine All of Charleston, S.C., and Joyce Redford of Loganville, Ga.; five grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the church after 2 p.m., Thursday, where the body will be placed in the church for viewing prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, American Cancer Society, or the Outreach Center at Hope Lutheran Church.
