Donald Colson Sauls Age 78, passed away at his home in Lacey on September 6, 2011.
Don was born on May 9, 1933 in Tacoma, WA. He graduated from Olympia High School in 1951.
He received his education at the University of Washington and graduated from the School of Dentistry at Marquette University.
He joined the Navy, where he was in active duty for four years, and retired as a commander from the Naval Reserve.
He married Joy Sauls in 1963, and they settled in Lacey, where they raised their family and Don ran a successful dental practice for 31 years with his brother, Dr. Robert Sauls.
He was an active member of Abby Theatre in the 70's and 80's, and he enjoyed his opera, show tunes, and Husky football.
He loved attending his grandkids' basketball games, where he earned his "Super Fan" tee-shirt presented to him by the team.
He is survived by his sons, Scott and Rusty Sauls, his grandkids, Shanae, J.T., Sydney, and Taylor, his brother Robert Sauls, his sister-in-law Evie, and their children, Keith, Kevin, and Lisa.
