Kimberly K. "Kimmie" Saubert, 38, of Lafayette, died at 3:02 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital.
She was born May 29, 1973, in Lafayette to James R. "Jim" and Norma I. Turner Lawton of Lafayette. She was a lifelong resident of Lafayette and a 1991 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School.
On Aug. 20, 1994, in Lafayette, she married William J. "Bill" Saubert, and he survives.
For two years, Mrs. Saubert worked at BASI in West Lafayette and for several years had operated a children's day care center from her home.
She attended Church Alive and was a former member of First Assembly of God, where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed computers, crocheting and Facebook games.
Surviving with her parents and husband is a sister, Carmen Smith (husband: John Jr.) of Lafayette.
Also surviving are a niece; 2 nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Kim loved her Lord and with her husband, "Bill-Bill," and together they shared a deep love. Bill's mother, brother, sisters, nieces and nephews add their love to her family.
Visitation Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Services Thursday 10 a.m. in Hippensteel Chapel with Pastor Owen Mason officiating. Interment in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
