Greasy Creek Road resident Bernice M. Cox Sattler died Saturday morning, January 16, 1999, at the Brown County Community Care Center in Salt Creek Park. She was 79.

Mrs. Sattler was born February 16, 1919, in French Lick to Otis and
Hazel Frentress Cox. She was married to Charles E. Sattler. He died August 16, 1988.

Mrs. Sattler was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church on State Road 135 North.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Ellen Bunch of Nashville; two sons, Charles Warren Sattler and Glenn Edward Sattler, both of Nashville; three sisters, June Reed of California, Carol Spurr of Rhode Island and Norma Simcox of Ohio; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Sattler was preceded in death by a brother, Warren Cox.

Father Bill Stumpf conducted a service Tuesday, January 19, at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Burial was in Nashville's Greenlawn Cemetery. Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home on State Road 135 North was in charge of
arrangements.
