A native of Washington County she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Eva Dismore Sarver. She resided in Scott County during most of her life and was a member of the Scottsburg First Christian Church.
Her survivors include her husband, Herman Casey; three sons, Kenneth Hobson and Chirles Amick, both of Scottsburg, and Arthur Hobson of Clarksville; a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Howell of Centerville, Iowa; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Lucille Conrad of Borden; eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Reverend John Lee officiated at the funeral conducted Friday afternoon at the Stewart Funeral Home in Scottsburg.
Burial was in the Scottsburg Cemetery."
