She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Reading,Mass. where she was the secretary for 25 years for all the church's meetings. She was a member of the church's Choir for 50 years and the Church bell ringers. She was also a member of the Woman's Club of Reading.
Surviving her are her sister Georgia W. Briggs and her husband Richard G. of Beverly; two nephews, Ronald S. Briggs and his wife, Pamela and Randall G. Briggs and his wife Nancy, all of Ipswich.
A Memorial service was held at the Second Congregational Church in North Beverly on THurs. Aug 16. Graveside services were held at Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading, on Friday Aug 17, 2007.
