Mrs. Mary Ellen Frasher, 72, widow of John Frasher, residing at 2008 Main Street, died at 1:15 o'clock this afternoon, of infirmities of age and complications, after an illness of several days..
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Sargeant, she was born in Rush county, Indiana, January 25, 1860. Fifty-four years ago she was united in marriage to John Frasher and to this happy union were born six children..
Mrs. Frasher was a highly esteemed woman and enjoyed a wide circle of friends..
Mr. Frasher died two years ago. Surviving are four children, Leafy Frasher, of San Francisco, Calif.; Charles Frasher, of Spokane, Wash.; Tillie Ann Frasher, at home, and Estel Frasher, living east of Leisure; one half-sister, Mrs. J.N. Nuzum, and one step-sister, Mrs. Jennie Callaway, both of Elwood. There are three grandchildren..
The body will be removed this evening to the home of the son, near Leisure, where friends will be privileged to call until the hour of the funeral, which will be conducted at the Leisure Christian church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. J.W. Wittkamper. Burial will be made in the Knox Chapel cemetery.
