Mabel A. Foltz, 78, of Conestoga View, 900 E. King St., formerly of 38 W. Strawberry St., died Thursday at Community Hospital of Lancaster after a lengthy illness.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Lancaster Recreation Senior Citizens Group at the Lancaster YMCA.
She was the wife of David H. Foltz, who died in 1964.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Foreacker Sandoe.
Surviving are four sons: David H. Jr. of Landisville, and John E., husband of Bonnie Foltz, Donald E. and Richard A., all of Lancaster; two daughters, Dorothy H., wife of Edward Turner Sr. of Lancaster, and Joan E., wife of Thomas L. Alexander of Ontario, N.Y.; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Mike, husband of Jane Sandoe of Lima, Ohio.
A daughter, Anna E. Foltz, preceded her in death.
