Cora Jane Broome, 69, formerly of Yuba County, died Saturday at an Oroville hospital.
Born in Missouri, she had lived in Oroville for the past nine years - moving there from Olivehurst, where she had lived for 16 years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Oroville.
Survivors include her husband, John; three daughters, Mrs. Katherine Leach of Redding, and Mrs. Verna Browning and Mrs. Ollie Hess, both of Olivehurst; two sons, Lewis of Palermo and James of Sacramento; three brothers, Owen Sanderson of Oklahoma, Harvey Sanderson of Grand Prairie, Tex., and Ike Sanderson of Palermo; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Thompson of Luvett, Tex., and Mrs. Dale White of New Boston, Tex.; 20 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services, under the direction of Sanford Funeral Chapel of Oroville, will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sierra View Memorial Park.
