WEST POINT - Lillian Sanders Andrews, 85, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. She was a native of Sparta in Chickasaw County. She was a seamstress for Knickerbocker Manufacturing for 30 years and a member of the First Baptist Church. She married John Stacy Andrews on Dec. 23, 1936. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1994.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Funderburg officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point.

Survivors include two sons, Jerald S. Andrews and wife, Margie, and Gene Andrews, all of West Point; three grandchildren, Alan Andrews of West Point, Jerry Andrews of Lebanon, Ohio, and Amy Andrews of Houston, Texas; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Leona S. Carpenter, Elmer S. Carpenter and Ruby S. McClain, all of West Point; a brother, John Ruble Sanders and wife, Ruby Mae, of West Point.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daisy Clark and Frank Sanders; her husband; a son, Bobby Andrews, in 1971; and two brothers, Jessie Sanders and Selma Sanders.

Pallbearers will be Alan Andrews, Jim Andrews, Jerry Andrews, Johnny Sanders, Mike Sanders and Eddie Frank Carpenter.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 794, West Point MS 39773.
