25 Feb 1919, Mable E (nee Thayer) Sanders was born near Brainard, NE., 4 Jul 1883 and died 19, Feb 1919 at the age of 35 yrs 7 mo's and 15 dys at Norfolk, NE. Mable was the daughter of J.P. and Maria Thayer. Her parents moved to Cherry County when she was about 7 years old. On 2 Jul 1900 she was united in marriage to J. W. Saunders, to this union were born 4 boys and 1 girl. She leaves her husband, 2 sons, Elijah and Henry; one daughter, Jesse, three brothers, Alvin R., Clarence A. and James, and two sisters, Cora and Mrs. Geo. Liptrap. Her father and mother and one sister having preceded her in death.
Mable Ettie Thayer was married to Jacob Wilkins Sanders. She was born in Brainard, Nebraska in 1883. She married Jacob on July 2, 1900 at Rushville, Sheridan County, Nebraska. She was the mother of Elijah Percival (Boodge), Henry Carrolle, Rolie, James W, and daughter Jessie Lei.
Any Information would be helpful on Jesse Lei B. October 2, 1906. (One account says, Jesse called in 1956 seeking a relationship with her older brother, Henry. She stated she was living in Pennsylvania.) She was given to the neighbors William (Bill) Beamer and his wife Minnie in 1909, under tragic circumstances. The Beamers were the friends of Jacob and Mable.
