NORMAN EDWIN SANDER(S), 82 years old, 1615 Perryville Road died Saturday in Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born Jan. 14, 1901, at Cape Girardeau. He attended schools here, and was employed 51 years by the International Shoe Co. prior to retiring in 1966.

Mr. Sanders was a member of the First Christian Church here, where he was a lifetime deacon.

On May 29, 1926, he married the former Hazel Rennnolds.

She survives, along with a daughter Mrs. William (Jane Elizabeth) Moritz, Houston, Texas; and grandchildren Mary Elizabeth Moritz, Los Angeles, Calif. and William R. Moritz, Houston.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church, with the pastor, the Rev. Gary Byrkit, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Van A. Sander, Dr. Jean Chapman, William Dunham, Dr. Pat Roupp, Paul Morris, Henry Margraf, the Rev. S.S. Borum and Frank Burst.

(Norman was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church on March 10, 1901, his sponsers were Heinrich Scheppelmann, Gustav Sander, Emilie Almstedt, Amanda Sackmann, he was also confirmed at Trinity on February 10, 1921, and attended services with his parents Henry and Amanda Sander.)
