Mr Samuels and his mother purchased a 40 acre farm in Indiana some time ago, and they had since resided there.
Besides his mother, Elizabeth Samuels, he is survived by his wife, Sadie, two children, Clyde and Cuba, of this city, and a brother, Henry of Pierre, SD.
The burial was in Hadley, Indiana.
