ILLNESS FATAL TO MRS. HERSHBERGER

Service for Mrs. Lois Hershberger, 50, of Procious, was at 1:30 p.m. last Friday at Horner Fork Church with Rev. Carl Morris officiating.

She died Wednesday in a Charleston hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Hershberger was a member of Procious Christian Church of Christ.

Surviving are her husband, W. P. Hershberger; four sons, Earl with the army in Germany, Basil of Procious, and Bobby and Freddie, both at home; four daughters, Mrs. Waneta McClanahan and Mrs. Lucille Conrad, both of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Blanche Lanham of Canton, Oh. and Betty at home; three brothers, Romie and Curt Samples, both of South Charleston, and Harvey of Procious; one sister, Mrs. Basil Mullins of Charleston, and six grandchildren.

Burial, directed by Hess and Harper Mortuary of Clendenin was in nearby Samples Cemetery.

Mrs. Lois Hershberger, 50 of Procious, Clay county, died yesterday in a Charleston hospital after a short illness.

She was a member of Procious Christian church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, W. P. Hershberger, four sons, Earl with the army in Germany, Basil of Procious and Bobby and Freddie, both at home; four daughters, Mrs. Waneta McClanahan and Mrs. Lucille Conrad, both of Akron, O., Mrs. Blanche Lanham of Canton, O., and Betty at home; three brothers, Romie and Curt Samples, both of South Charleston and Harvey of Procious; one sister, Mrs. Basil Mullins of Charleston, and six grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at Horner Fork church with the Rev. Carl Burrow officiating.

Burial will be in Samples cemetery near Procious under direction of Hess and Harper mortuary of Clendenin.

The body was to be taken today at 4 p.m. from the mortuary to the residence.

For Carrie's family and friends I extend my deepest sympathy. For those who refused her husband to be buried here you have my greatest resentment.
