Rebecca Flower, dau. of Joseph Flower and Sarah Wright, b. Nov. 13, 1733 at Wethersfield, Conn. She d. Oct. 8, 1766 at New London, Conn. (g.s.)
On Nov. 8, 1750 at Wethersfield (Ch. Rec.), Rebecca m. Ebenezer Young(s), whose parentage has not been discovered. He d. intestate before Feb. 5, 1754, the date administration of his insolvent estate was granted to the widow Rebecca and her father Joseph, latter then of Springfield, Mass. They had one known child, s. John Young(s), bapt. at Wethersfield, whose fate has not been traced.
On Sept. 4, 1755 (Weth. Ch. Rec.; Sept. 16 per New London VRs), Rebecca m. as his 1st wife, Nathaniel Saltonstall, b. 1727 at New London, Conn. He d. Aug. 1, 1807 at Marietta, OH (g.s.) They had the following four children of record at New London, Conn., who currently have not been traced further:
• i. Rebecca Gardiner (sic, Gardner) Saltonstall, b. July 7, 1756, undoubtedly named for her mother's great grandmother Rebecca (Gardner) Crafts.
• ii. Sally Crafts Saltonstall, b. Aug 17, 1758, undoubtedly named, in part, for her maternal grandmother Sarah (Wright) Flower and maternal great grandmother Rebecca (Crafts) Wright.
• iii. Gurdon Flower Saltonstall, b. May 18, 1760.
• iv. Joseph Leander Saltonstall, b. Jun 8, 1763.
