"MRS. W. E. OVERTON DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS
Funeral Services Will Be Held Today at Home of Daughter, Mrs. C. D. Stimson
Mrs. W. E. Overton, resident of Seattle for eighteen years and mother of Mrs. C. D. Stimson, died Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Stimson, 1204 Minor Avenue, after an illness of ten days. Mrs. Overton was 83 years of age and during her long residence in this city acquired a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 5 o'clock this afternoon from the residence of Mrs. Stimson, Rev. Ernest Vincent Shayler officiating. The interment, which will follow in the Lakeview cemetery, will be private. In addition to her daughter of this city, the deceased is survived by one son, E. E. Overton of Olympia."
