The daughter of Josefina Reyna Nunez and the late Antonio Gonzales was born November 18, 1956 in McGregor, Texas. She married David M. Saldana, June 17, 2005. He survives her. She was employed by Health Delivery System and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She enjoyed family events, gardening, traveling and was an avid reader.
Surviving besides her husband and mother are a son and his wife, Ruben and Shelly Garcia, Zionsville, IN; a step-daughter, Stephanie Saldana, Saginaw, MI; two grandchildren, Jade and Kaden Garcia; her brothers, sisters and their spouses, Gloria and Fernando Diaz, San Antonio, TX; Tony and Kelly Saenz; Elisa Medina; Jesse and Grace Gonzales; Lupe Garcia; Daniel Gonzales; Pete Nunez, all of Bay City, MI; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ruth and Martin Turner, St. Charles, MI; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jodi and Mike Lindsey; Jeff Saldana. She was predeceased by her brother, Nick Gonzales and a brother-in-law, Scott Saldana.
The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 808 Weiss Rd. Rev. Charles F. Buckhahn will officiate with burial in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co.
