Anita Dixon (B: 19 Aug 1905, Embudo; D: 30 Oct 2004) was the daughter of Enrique Dixon and Ignacita Salazar (Social Security Applications).

In 1910, Embudo; Anita Dixon was enumerated with her parents Henry & Inazita Dixon and sister Josifita Dixon (1910 Census).

In 1920, Dixon; Anita Dixon was enumerated as under the guardianship of widowed Castula Sánchez with her sons: Gregorio and Benjamin Sánchez (1920 Census).

In 1930, San Juan, Rio Arriba County; Anita Dixon was enumerated with her son Antonio Dixon (1930 Census).

In 1940, San Juan, Rio Arriba County; Anita Dixon was enumerated as a lodger (1940 Census).

In 1950, Ranchitos; Anita Dixon was enumerated with her son Richard Dixon (1950 Census).

Anita Dixon, of Apple Valley in Española, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her parents Enrique Dixon and Ignacita Salazar.

Anita was survived by her sister Josie Silva of Española; her sons Manuel Richard Dixon of Española and Tony Dixon of California; stepson Henry Valencia of Española; daughter-in-law Carmen Dixon of Medenales; and her grandchildren: Ricky (wife Darlene) of Ranchitos, Roland (wife Arlene) of El llano, Dino (wife Shirley) of Ranchitos, Anthony (his girlfriend Yolanda) of Hernández, Natasha DeCosta of Ranchitos and Linda Sisneros of Medenales; 19 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Anita Dixon will also be missed by her caretakers and friends: Ruby Martinez, MaryAnn Tafoya and Viola Martinez; as well as many other relatives and friends.

A public visitation and Recitation of the Rosary were on 1 November 2004 at Block-Salazar Mortuary. Funeral Mass was on 2 November 2004 at the Sacred Heart Church in Española. Interment followed at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
