Salazar, Robert "Pete"
69, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on October 10. 2009. Born in Humbolt, AZ, Pete passed at his home. A U.S. Navy veteran, former Yavapai County Deputy Sheriff, former Prescott Police Officer, former United States Marshal for the District of Puerto Rico, Pete retired as the Chief Deputy United States Marshal for the District of Arizona. After a lifetime of service to his country and community, Pete succumbed to cancer. Pete, dubbed "Papa" by his gran dchildren, is survived by his three children Robert Salazar Jr., John Salazar & Suzanne Glas, and nine grandchildren (Lenley, Devin, Brittany, Jonathan, Cassandra, Veronica, Ashley, Joseph & Andrew). He is loved and will be missed beyond belief. May he rest in peace. Viewing on 10/14/09 from 5-8 PM; Rosary commencing at 7PM: Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary 200 West Beardsley Road Phoenix, AZ 85027. Mass on 10/15/09 @ 10AM: St. Jerome's
