A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Bachelor & Master Degrees from USC, studying with Ingolf Dahl, Walter Ducloux. Personal instrument: Clarinet; studied with Kalman Bloch in L.A. and Carlo Gambacurta at Rome Conservatory; other study at Julliard School and U of NM. On the faculty of Ventura College over 30 yrs. A mentor to many professional musicians throughout the world...a devoted friend and family man.
