William M. Sailors, 66, Rt. 1, Walton, a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, was dead on arrival Sunday at Memorial Hospital. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack.

Born Jan. 8, 1905, in Kokomo, he was the son of Clyde P. and Grace A. McElwee Sailors.

He was employed at Logansport State Hospital.

His marriage was in Kentland to the former Frances Sterrett who survives. Surviving with the widow are two sons, one daughter, one stepson, Ronald Bechdolt of Camden, one brother and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Logansport with burial in Bruner Cemetery.
