Irine Sabo, 86, of Aurora passed away Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Provena McAuley Manor. She was born August 10, 1919 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Tereza (Antal) and George Sabo.
Irine, handicapped her whole life, still had a ready smile and would give the O.K. sign when things were good. Her hobby was putting picture puzzles together. She would smile with pride when showing the puzzle was complete. Those who were around at those times will always remember the twist of the facial expression, the glow on her face, while she smiled.
She is survived by her brother, Peter Saros; nephew, Leon P. (Gertrude) Saros; great nephews and great nieces, Mark (Julie) Saros, Linda (Todd) Hill, Denise (Edward) Evans, David (Lisa) Saros, Jennifer (Brent) Edwards, Kyle (Laura) Saros, 14 great great nieces and nephews; first cousins, Florence Wondrak, Helen Brown, Marion Tator and John Tatar.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Helen Sabo; her aunt and uncle, Elizabeth (Antal) and Louis Tator; and five first cousins.
Funeral from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY will be Thursday, October 27, 2005 at 9:30am to St. Michael Church at 10:00am. Very Rev. Aurel Pater will officiate with interment at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm with a liturgical wake service at 6:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500. www.daleidenmortuary.com
