VICTORIA SVACINA
Mrs. Victoria Svacina, 88 (photo) of N. 10th St., Manitowoc, died late Friday
night at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following an illness of a month.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Mittnacht Funeral
Home, Manitowoc the Rev. Gervase Zanotti officiating, with burial in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Victoria Krejci was…(underinked)…of Kossuth, daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Krejci. She was married to Anton J. Svacina on Nov. 26,
1885, and the couple took up residence in Manitowoc where Mr. Svacina was an
insurance and real estate agent. He died in 1909. Since that time Mrs. Svacina
had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Simmer.
Survivors include the daughter, a son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Louis S.
Svacina of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Anna Pech of Manitowoc; two grand-
children, Louis S. Svacina Jr., and William J. Simmer of Manitowoc and four
great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
