Albert Svacina, aged 53 years, for over 25 years a hotel proprietor at Grimms,
died last night at 9 o'clock at the hospital here after a week's illness. He
underwent an operation less than a week ago.
The deceased was born at Taus, in this county and was in the hotel business
there before locating at Grimms, where for 26 years he conducted the hotel
and was well and favorably known by a large circle of friends. Funeral services
will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Mary's church at
Reedsville.
A widow, two sons, Louis and Raymond, one sister, Mrs. Henry Hill of this city
and a brother, Joseph Svacina of Grimms survive. The deceased was a member of
the Catholic Knights and the Foresters.
