Mrs. George (Marian) Surfus of 1333 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday
afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at
11 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt
will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Surfus, nee Marian D. Namz, was born in Manitowoc, daughter of Edward
Namz and the late Catherine Bromberg Namz. She was graduated from Lincoln High
School and was married to George J. Surfus Oct. 23, 1948, at Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband, her father, Edward Namz, and a sister, Mrs.
Clarence (Bette) Poklinkoski, of Manitowoc, uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, where a
wake service will be held at 7 p.m.
