Died - At the residence of her daughter, Mrs M.A.Fowler, near Bristol, on Sun.Oct. 7th 1883. Mrs Agnes Stevenson aged 81 years 5 months & 8 days. Mrs Stevenson was born in Dumbrieshire(sic), Scotland. With her husband she came from Scotland to Columbiana, Ohio in 1835. In 1848 they moved to Indiana. On Oct 10th 1864 her husband died. She came to the home of Mrs Fowler 10 years ago. She was the mother of 6 children, 2 of whom died. Funeral conducted by Rev.W.M.Buck, pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Constantine, Michigan, assisted by Rev.H.B.Hunt of the M.E.Church of Bristol. Buried in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
