BURLESON - Leslie E. Southerland, 82, a retired Fort Worth Aluminum Foundry employee, died Monday, June 18, 2001, in Cleburne.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Burleson. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Burleson.

Memorials: Cleburne Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, 1108 W. Kilpatrick, Cleburne, Texas 76033.

Mr. Souherland was a member of First Baptist Church of Burleson, the Burleson Masonic Lodge and the Shrine Temple in Fort Worth and was a former member of the Cowtown Posse.

The family would like to express its special thanks and appreciation to the Cleburne Rehabilitation and Health Care Center and to the Castle Peak Hospice.

Survivors: Wife of 62 years, Lois Bass Southerland of Burleson; son, Larry Southerland and wife, Bobbie, of Fort Worth; daughter, Barbara Knight and husband, Robbie, of Joshua; brother, Frank Odell Southerland of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many beloved neighbors and friends.
