Neva Iona (Russell) Brenner, 84, of Potwin, homemaker, died Monday, April 5, 1993, at Halstead Hospital. Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Potwin Christian Church with the Rev. Rick McNary officiating.
She was born Sept. 2, 1908, in Ames, Okla., to Elias Austin Russell and Marita Lula Brown. Her memberships included Potwin Christian Church, Order of the Eastern Star and Golden Age Club. On June 26, 1929, she and George Brenner were married in El Dorado. He preceded her in death June 12, 1983.
Survivors include: brother, Ray Russell of Whitewater; several nieces and nephews. Memorials are to the Christian Church in Potwin. Lamb-Nutter Mortuary in Whitewater has the arrangements.

Services for Neva Iona (Russell) Brenner were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 8, at the Potwin Christian Church. Burial was in McGill Cemetery, Potwin. She died April 5, 1993, in Halstead. She was born Sept. 2, 1908, in Ames, Okla.
The Rev. Rick McNary officiated the services. Kate Cass was pianist and Joyce Muse was organist. Vocalist was Bonnie Courtney and the vocal selections were "Come Unto Me" and "How Great Thou Art".
Casket bearers were Jim Brainerd, Scott Oberst, Stuart Russell, J.B. Smith, Chris Oberst and Dan Whiteside. Memorials were to the Potwin Christian Church. Lamb-Nutter Mortuary had the arrangements.
