Elizabeth was the wife of Joseph Beck, Sr. Her last place of residence was 1015 W Madison, in Louisville. In several news ads, John Beck was enumerated as either a butcher or a bartender, who was at 1015 W Madison. John was one of Elizabeth and Joseph's sons, several of whom owned saloons in Louisville. The saloon at 1015 W Madison was raided after it came under new ownership, after the death of John Beck. The death certificate of her son, George, establishes her maiden name of RUSS. (Previously, some other collaborators and I had Elizabeth's maiden name as ROSS).
