Mr. George Rusmissel, who lived four miles south of Carrier, died on Friday night and was laid away in the Roan Hill cemetery at this place on Sunday. Cold as the day was, an unusual large concourse of friends and neighbors attended the body to the grave. Mr. Rusmissel was one of the first settlers and prominent in business affairs. He had been a lively member M.W.A. at this place, but a few months ago, he withdrew from the lodge. He had carried $2000 insurance, which is now lost to his wife and little ones. Consumption was the cause of his death.
