Wife of David R. Rusmisel.
Mrs. Catharine Rusmisel, of Danvers, died Thursday morning, at her home, of old age. Mrs. Rusmisel had not been sick long but failed rapidly. She was born in Waynesborough [Waynesboro], Augusta county, Virginia, July 1, 1811, and was married to Mr. Rusmisel (deceased) August 13, 1833. They removed to Illinois In the fall of 1849 .
Mrs. Rusmisel was the mother of twelve children, five of whom are living, as follows: Wm. C. Rusmisel, of Branch Mill, Ohio; Samuel D. Rusmisel, of Danvers; Mrs. Mary Francis Rusmisel, of Danvers; Henry L. Rusmisel, of Stanford, and Miss Ellen Oford, of Forrest.
Mrs. Rusmisel was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Danvers.
The funeral will be held at the C. P. Church in Danvers, Saturday morning, at 10 o’clock. Rev. C. E. Hayes and Rev. Lawrence, of Stanford, assisting Interment will be In the Twin Grove Christian Church Cemetery.
