Cousin Lorene was the Daughter of Floyd Eugene and Nellie Mae Jones Stevenson. The oldest of six children.

A Sister to Harvey Glen, Alfreda Bondena, Agustus Eugene, James Earnest and Maurice Stevenson.

On April 9, 1944 she married James Lovell Rush in Scottsdale, Maricopa County, Arizona.

They had two children, a son and a daughter.

Lorene was a member of the College Park Baptist Church in Kingman, and had held many offices. She was always available to help anyone who was in need.

My Grandparents told me many times of how wonderful a hostess Cousin Lorene was and that she truly cared about her time to visit with you.

Cousin Lorene had a strong interest in the families history and took steps to put together a book about our family. And its history with another lady who was also interested in tracing our Jones family line. She also worked on the Rush family history too. The care she took is very evident in the details of the photo albums and books. Her work is awe inspiring.

She passed away before she got to have the Great Grandchildren who came a bit later. Who she would have truly enjoyed. She left her two children and five Grandchildren and many other family members to miss her here.
