Anna's husband (Georg Anton Wessels) was previously married to her older sister, Margarete Catherine Ruseler on May 12, 1850 in Varel, Germany. They had twin sons, Heinrich George and Karl Friedrich, who were born on October 18, 1851 in Varel. Her sister became ill after the birth of the twins, so she moved in to help.

After her sister passed away Aug. 17, 1852, Georg married Anna on December 26, 1853. Their son, Johann Hermann Georg was born on March 14, 1854 in Dangastermoor, Germany.

On Feb. 06, 1856, Georg Anton passed away.

In 1887, Heinrich Georg brought his family to America and Karl Friedrich stayed in Germany.

It was not until 1896 that Johann Hermann Georg brought his family, along with his mother, Anna to America to join Heinrich and his family. All lived together in Trinity Hill until moving to Prairie Valley. This community (Trinity Hill) was on the west side of La Grange, but is now part of the city.
