Mrs. Leroy Plant, 48, daughter of Christ Ruffing of Hat Creek, who was stabbed to death by her husband at Klamath Falls, Ore. Jan. 19, was buried in the Lusk Cemetery Wednesday morning.
The services were held at 10:00 at the Peet Chapel with the Rev. Fr. M.J. McBrien officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Lester Brooks, Miss Jean Panno and Miss Marjorie McFarlane, accompanied by Mrs. Henry Wasserburger, organist. Luella Plant was born May 21, 1903 at Mt. Rose, Nebr. and later came with the family to the homestead (which) the father had established in the late 1890's near Hat Creek. She attended rural schools in that area.
In 1920 she married Percy A. Himes. She was married to Plant two years ago.
Surviving are a son, Albin Himes, St. Helen, Ore.; the father and eight brothers and sisters: Mrs. Carl Erny, Alliance, Nebr.; Mrs. Beatrice Avenell, Edgemont; Henry of Hat Creek; Edward of Basin; Robert of Spokane; and Jennings, Albert, and Mrs. Thelma Nuxoll of Lusk.
Mrs. Plant had visited here in Lusk in November when her father was seriously ill.
