She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Ona Hendrix Ruff; four sisters, Helen Fay Ruff, Willa Jean Baker, Whyneice Blair and Joy Delk; and one brother, Eugene Ruff.

Wanell Ruff Allen, 70, of Harrison went to be with her Lord Sunday, April 11 (2004) at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 14 at Christeson Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Eddings officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 13 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Richardson, Dale Williams, Ed Dodge, Allen Kelley, Chance Baker, and Everett Rainbolt.

The daughter of the late Marvin Ruff and Ona Hendrix Ruff was born July 6, 1933 in Eula (Richland). She was saved at the age of 14 and attended the Union Road Assemby of God. She was a resident of Boone County for 54 years and worked with her husband at Conward's Heating & Cooling for 22 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Eugene Ruff; and four sisters, Helen Faye Ruff, Willa Jean Baker, Whyneice Blair and Joy Delk.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Conward Allen; one daughter, Gwenda Allen of Fort Smith; one son, Ken Allen and his wife, Glynna of Harrison; six grandchildren, Amy Richardson and her husband, John of Harrison, Bethany Williams and her husband, Dale of Little Rock, Carrie Richter and her husband, Lad of Washington State, Dana Dodge and her husband, Ed of Little Rock, and Danielle Allen and Luke Allen, both of Harrison; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
