Jeannette R. Anders of West Brandywine

Jeannette R. Anders of Freedom Village, West Brandywine, formerly of Ardmore and Bala Cynwyd, died on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Brandywine Hospital, Coatesville.

She was an alumna of Lower Merion High School (class of 1935) and of Miss Sayward's School, and a past member of the Lower Merion Historical Society and the Hannah Penn Club.

She was a longtime member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ardmore, before relocating.

Born March 29, 1916, Jeannette was the daughter of the late Philip F. and Edna Rudolph and the wife of the late James M. Anders, who predeceased her in 2002.

She is survived by their only son, Philip M., and his wife, Nancy of West Chester; and her two granddaughters, Debra Weaver (Garrick) and Susan Brizick (Peter). Her two great-grandchildren, Lauren Weaver and Andrew Brizick, brought a smile to both her face and her heart.

Services will be held at Chadwick & McKinney Funeral Home, 30 E. Athens Ave., Ardmore, on Monday, June 11, at 11 a.m., where friends and family may call after 10:30 a.m.

Burial will follow in West Laurel Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd.

Memorial contributions may be made to either St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ardmore, or the American Lung Association.
