Irene Daniels, 94, of Indiana, formerly of Lucerne, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, at the Communities at Indian Haven. A daughter of Andrew B. and Jean Hamilton Ruddock, she was born May 15, 1913, in Ernest. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Homer City and AARP. Mrs. Daniels lived all her life in Indiana County where she was a receptionist for Dr. Walter B. Cope. She is survived by two sisters, Betty Gerhard, Homer City, and Peggy Strong, Clymer; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Taylor Daniels; a brother, David Ruddock; and a sister, Jean Yates. Friends were received at Robinson-Lytle, in Indiana, where funeral services were held Thursday with Rev. Joseph Stains officiating. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery.
