Mrs. Lola Rucker Black was born July the 9th, 1913 to the late Robert and Lizzie Keeble Rucker in Rutherford County, County, Tennessee. The end of this life came Saturday, February 16,1980, suddenly at home 628 East State Street.


She received her education at the Rutherford County and City schools in Murfreesboro. She

was first married to Bruce Anderson and to this union four children were born of whom two survive.


She joined thr Stones River Methodist Church at an early age. She was very active in this church

until she moved to Chicago. She returned home to live July the 12th, 1970 where she and her grandchildren joined The Bible Church of Jesus, and she remained a very active member of the

church, where she taught Sunday School and remained active until her death.


She gave everyone all of her love, and love was given back to her in return. All who knew her lost their best friend and mother, but she will be missed and remembered because of all of

the love that she spread in each ones hearts.


She is survived by her husband Tom Black of Murfreesboro, two sons, Bruce Anderson, Jr., of Chicago; and Robert Lee Anderson of Murfreesboro; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Hawkins of Chicago and Mrs. Blossie Butler of Murfreesboro; her devoted niece Mrs. Hattie Mai Betty of Detroit; and nephew Mr. James Betty of Detroit, her grandchildren, Randall B. Mitchell of Murfreesboro, James O.

Hawkins of Chicago, MyrtleE. Halliburton, Lovell B.Anderson, Lola B. Anderson. Lorinda A. Anderson, all of Murfreesboro. Bruce Anderson, lI, Kim Anderson, both of Gary, Indiana; Mickie Anderson Richardson of Murfreesboro. Darryl Anderson and Karen Anderson of Chicago. Devoted brothers-in-law, Mr. Robert I. Butler, Frank Black, Cornelius Black, Johnny Black, all of Murfreesboro; Rufus Black of Indianapolis, Huston Shannon of Nashville, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Maggie Mitchell of Murfreesboro, and many devoted nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Devoted friends: Mrs. Myrtle Lord, Mrs. Ellen Wade

of Murfreesboro, and Mrs. Elizabeth Rucker of Nashville.
