Mr. Cecil Rucker Sr. age 57, of Mt.Vernon died Friday February 17, 2012 at his home. He was born on September 20, 1954 in Berea, KY the son of the late Bob and Martha Smith Rucker. He was a retired Bus Driver for the Rockcastle County School System, enjoyed fishing, old cars, playing his guitar, was a member of the American Rifle Association, as well as the Fairview Baptist Church.
Survivors are: one son; Cecil Rucker Jr. of Mt.Vernon. One daughter; Mrs. Ruby Jean Hasty of Mt.Vernon. Four grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by; his wife; Mrs. Ruth Ella Hasty Rucker. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made to: Cox Funeral Home P.O. Box 325 Mt.Vernon, KY 40456.
